The “gastronomad” is the traveller who relishes the moving feast, who recognizes that food and wine bring us together on a very real and authentic level. Our tours are inspired by the Slow Food model of stimulating interest “(…) in the food (they) eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world.” Our travellers visit food and wine producers, take cooking classes, tour markets and engage local communities in discussions on sustainability, local trends, techniques and tastes. Our hosts, whether NORTH or SOUTH AMERICAN, ASIAN or INDIAN, are engaging experts in everything culinary from farm to table.
We travel to eat food, to drink wine, to attend food events, to sit at table in the company of people all over the world who share our passion. Our inaugural trip in February 2008 featured Chile and Argentina. Our upcoming tours take us across the globe to ASIA, INDIA, SOUTH AMERICA and EUROPE.
